So, you have this great idea about a New Product you would like to create and market, an Amazing Service you would like to promote and deliver, but don't know where to start?
First, we need to discuss your Idea: What problems are you trying to solve? Who is experiencing them? How do you intend to solve these problems? What are your goals?
Let's go through some of the things you should consider; I'll divide them into three categories:1)-Your customer
2)-Your product3)-Marketing and Pricing1)-We start with your customer: You need to have a clear understanding of who your customers are, their needs, in which market segment they are and how to reach them. Choose your clients based on your own vision for your product/service. The clearer you are about this, the more advantage you have in selecting your target market, evaluating its size, choosing your advertising strategy and forecasting future potential.
2)-Next, your Product or Service:
The benefits you are introducing, your potential competition, is your product/service a single or recurring purchase, additional business opportunities, distribution, legal restrictions..
Do not focus a lot on what others are doing, but more on what your client actually needs, and deliver exactly that. Interview them, ask questions, test and refine your product, and generate Value for your Customers.
3)-Lastly, Marketing & Pricing:The best time to introduce your product/service, how to introduce or launch, the key people to meet, end users and economical buyers, people that might influence the decisions...There are many factors to be discussed, besides price: your product's features, the benefits for the clients, product availability and delivery terms, post purchase support...In general, it is easier to lower a price than to raise it up at a later stage, but do not start with a price so high that will scare your customers away. Set the price based on the value of your product over its lifetime use, and the Value it brings to the customer."Don't let the fear of the time it will take to accomplish something stand in the way of your doing it. The time will pass anyway; We might just as well put that passing time to the best possible use." - Earl Nightingale.Do not get discouraged, think of the whole process as consequences and feedback. It might seem difficult, I have been there, but let me assure you the rewards far outweigh the challenges.Get in touch and together we will tailor the appropriate plan for your Vision.
